Rookie Sweater in Ballerina Chunky Mohair – a beginner-friendly raglan sweater that knits up quickly on large needles. Worked from the top down in a single strand and easy to adjust in length. Soft, light, and perfect as a first sweater project or a quick, warm favourite.
Work sweater from neck down and with single yarn.
Cast on sts for yoke, work back and forth with inc for raglan and cast on for neckline.
When cast on for neckline is finished, join work and cont St-st in rnds with inc for raglan.
When all sts have been inc, divide work for sleeves, back and front and work parts separately.
Work neckband.
The model in the first pictures is 176 cm tall and is wearing size M, while the model in the last pictures is 180 cm tall and is wearing size M.
- Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 6, Knitting Needle no. 7
- Knitting tension: 13 sts = 10 cm
The number of balls is based on the given dimensions. If you want longer garments, please remember that you may need extra yarn.
