Pattern Overview
The pattern includes instructions for both the Sweater and Pants. Riley Sweater is worked from the top down in Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair, holding one strand of each quality together. The sweater features stripes, raglan increases and folded hems on the body and sleeves.
Riley Pants are worked from the top down in Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair, holding one strand of each quality together. The pants feature stripes, a double waistband with elastic, short rows for a higher back and folded hems at the ankles.
Product information
The sweater is worked in the round in a stripe pattern, holding 1 strand of each quality together. First, the work is knitted back and forth with raglan increases and increases for the neckline. When the neckline is complete, the work is joined and continued in the round with raglan increases on the sleeves, front and back. When all increases are complete, the sleeves, front and back are worked separately to full length and finished with a folded hem. The neckband is worked last.The pattern also includes the pattern for Riley Pants.
The pants are worked from the top down in a stripe pattern, holding 1 strand of each quality together. First, a double waistband is worked with a casing for elastic. Short rows are then worked back and forth to make the pants higher at the back. Stitches are increased for the gusset before the work is divided and each leg is worked separately. The legs are worked in the round and finished with a folded hem. A drawstring can be knitted at the end if desired.
THE MODEL IS 178 CM TALL AND IS WEARING SIZE M.
