The Sandnes Garn Miu Pointelle mittens yarn kit, comprising a paper copy of the pattern plus 2 x 25g balls of Sandnes Garn Cashmere in the shade selected. This is enough yarn to make the fingerless mitts or the mittens version of the garment that fully cover the fingers.

Description


Miu Pointelle Mittens are knitted in soft and luxurious Cashmere with a delicate pattern that gives them an elegant look. The narrow rib edging and shaped thumb gusset give the wrist warmers a comfortable and refined fit.  The pattern includes the full glove and fingerless glove options.

Product information

 

The wrist warmers are worked from the bottom up in Cashmere with a pattern according to the diagram. Stitches are first cast on using the Italian cast-on technique to create a neat and elastic edge. The work is then continued in the round according to the diagram before stitches are increased for the thumb gusset. The wrist warmers are finished with a narrow rib edge, and the thumb is worked last. The right and left wrist warmers are identical and are worked in the same way. The pattern also includes instructions for the Miu Pointelle Mittens edition.
