PetiteKnit Sophie shawl yarn kit

Yarn kit to knit the PetiteKnit Sophie Shawl using Sandnes Garn's beautifully soft Alpakka Ull (60% Alpaca, 40% Wool).

Kit contains:

• Paper copy of the PetiteKnit Sophie Shawl pattern
• For the small, medium or large version of the shawl, 150g, 250g or 300g of Alpakka Ull in the colour selected. 50g is approximately 100m of yarn.
• PetiteKnit fabric label

There are unfortunately currently some supply issues from Sandnes with some of the popular shades such as scarlet, blue hydrangea, dark brown and deep burgundy.  You could also use either Gepard Pura Lana or Eco Cashmere Vintage as a substitute - see listing linked to this page.

Sizes: S (M) L 

Length from tip to tip: approx. 170 (210) 240 cm [67 (82¾) 94½ inches]

Width at center: approx. 28 (34) 38 cm [11 (13½) 15 inches]

Gauge: 17 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in garter stitch on a 5 mm [US8] needle 

Needles: 5 mm [US8] / 60 cm [24 inches] circular needle

Materials: 150 (250) 300 g Alpakka Ull by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 100 m [109 yds])

Size S is pale grey in the photos, M is the dark grey and L is the brown version.
