AddiCraSyTrio double-pointed sock needles with a twist - or flexibility rather! The latest way to knit socks. The double-pointed knitting needles have a short section of cord in the middle of each one, allowing it to bend
With this 3-piece set of flexible sock knitting needles even really small diameter pieces can be knitted very easily. For knitting in the round, the stitches are distributed over two needles and the third needle is used for knitting - meaning only two needle changes per row.
Designed by ADDI, these needles were based on an idea by Sylvie Rasch, hence the name CraSyTrio. For sock knitting guidelines and PATTERNS specifically designed for the addiCraSyTrio, follow the LINK HERE and to view a quick VIDEO tutorial follow the LINK HERE.
Short row heels are a breeze on these, just split your stitches with half on each of 2 needles. You can knit heel flaps by placing one third of the stitches on one needle and the rest on the other.
I bought this to knit some socks for a Moomin loving friend. The wool is lovely and a pleasure to knit with. Ordering and delivery were quick and easy and I very much appreciated my Christmas stocking stitch marker.
Really happy with my lovely book. Excellent customer service, speedy well packaged delivery. I would happily recommend Treasure Modern Knitting, they have a great range of products too.
I’m really enjoying these patterns from PetiteKnit. They are printed on good quality paper, using A5 as the leaflet size. The perfect size to pop into a project bag!
The most accurate description of this yarn is Quality Basic. It has a lovely soft handle with some firmness, which makes it a great all rounder. The blend of wool and nylon means you can also use it for cosy DK socks too!
